Garou (One Punch Man Composite) Character Blog

GAROU

The Hero Hunter: If our world is corrupt, then to unify it we must fight against a true evil.

Before We Start

What does a composite OPM blog even entail?

If you can read, which I assume at the very least you can, this blog is going to be a full composite, simply because I like Garou and think he’s cool n such, it’s also being made because I think Goku vs Saitama is cool, that and I want to do some translations for the OPM manga as the only current translation is from… Viz… Yeah, certainly not the best source of “translations”, regardless the following will be used as our main media.

Media

  • OPM Webcomic.

  • OPM Manga.

  • OPM Anime.

  • OPM: A hero nobody knows.

  • OPM: the Strongest.

  • Retconned Pages

Note that the Webcomic will only be brought up fully for future moments which the Manga does not cover currently, or suuuper important things which need full clarification from ONE, cover stories will be considered, IE Saitama lifting up two black holes etc etc. But what about crossovers? Well…

Shut up

Translations being Annoying

Ah yes, translations, things like that usually are difficult to make sense of, especially with something as decisive as OPM, if only I knew someone who knew both Japanese and English, and had a history with translations… Oh wait, I do! Me! Anyways, if this isn’t obvious, VIZ is, well, kind of terrible at translating things, and OPM is no exception to that rule. Because of that, anything truly important, like the translations shown above, VIZ will only be used for base understanding; things like rules for how OPM’s limiters work, and that fabled fuckass Blast feat will be translated manually by yours truly. Along with that, a huge credit to Floppy’s translations for a base understanding of what to specifically translate when looking into the Japanese raws. The same goes for the Webcomic, as a ton of its translations are just done by fans, which isn’t bad, but it's also best to look into and translate things on your own when it comes to that kind of thing.

Also, this goes without saying

DO NOT BE AN ANNOYING ASSHOLE OVER THIS BLOG.

(THIS GOES FOR OPM FANS TOO)

THIS BLOG WAS STARTED BEFORE THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF GOKU VS SAITAMA.

I LAIN, HAVE A WEIRD HABIT OF RECEIVING DEATH THREATS OVER MY BLOGS.

(IT'S LIKE A “KICK ME” NOTE. IT SUCKS)

TO PUT A DISCLAIMER HERE IS EMBARRASSING, SO PLEASE.

BE FUCKING NORMAL FOR ONCE.

Thank you.

Background

“Good? Evil? I reject them both!”

Humanity, People, Ideas, Good and Evil, all things live in a balance, but is a balance really just? Petty wars, petty murders, monster attacks every other day, Humanity needs to thrive, and for a young boy by the name of Garou this sentiment would push his life down a spiral.

Born at an unknown time, Garou would be bullied for his looks and actions as a young child, forced into the role of a monster, he would be attacked by multiple children, and being unable to fight back Garou would gain a deep resentment towards heroes, his idealization of Monsters would push his worldview and his wish that one day, a monster would rise up from the ashes, and destroy the world he loathed so very much, uniting humanity against one singular almighty threat.

Garou would eventually realize that the best way for this world to come to, is to take on that role himself, using his incredible skill to copy and learn fighting skills, Garou would put that effort into learning as many fighting techniques as possible, eventually becoming the disciple of Silver Fang, a hero who saw a lot of his younger self in Garou, as such he planned to keep Garou on the right path, however Garou once learning everything he thought he could from Bang’s dojo, would simply leave after beating up every other person who trained alongside him.

After leaving, Garou would name himself the Hero Hunter, and he would begin to do just that, hunting as many heroes as possible, this would eventually lead him to encountering a child by the name of Tareo. Despite being ugly, Garou viewed the kid as very similar to himself, bullied for his looks, but the main difference being that the Kid viewed heroes as an absolute, bonding with this kid through their interest in heroes, although for different reasons would lead Garou to view Tareo as a nephew of some kind, eventually, while fighting off an A class hero, Garou would show Tareo the mercilessness of heroes as despite knowing about Tareo in his resting place, Death Gatling would shoot a chain of bullets, which Garou would deflect away from the building. After taking them out, Garou would then have to fight S-class Genos, and then finally coming face to face with Bang, despite being weakened he put up the best fight he could, slightly monsterizing, before being saved by the monster association.

Upon being kidnapped by the Monster Association, Garou would be forced into killing a hero for the organization, however Garou believed that no Monster should team together, for a true monster causes absolute fear, while being trailed by two monsters entrusted to watch him, Garou would eventually be forced into a situation where he had to protect Tareo once again, however, even despite his monsterized form, Garou would lose, causing Tareo to be kidnapped by the association, upon waking up in the middle of the night with his wounds healed, Garou would go towards the Association once more to take down every monster, and save Tareo.

Garou would have to fight every monster under the sun to break Tareo out, from random Demon levels to even a giant dog which shoots lasers, Garou would eventually save Tareo before losing him somewhere within the foundation, before coming into contact with Gyoro Gyoro and the King of monsters himself, Orochi, fighting against these two would be near impossible, despite his constant growth Orochi would prove to be an impossible fight to win, being chained up and kept in a basement, overtime Garou would begin to monsterize.

At the same time, the hero association would launch an attack onto the association, causing the S-class hero Darkshine to stumble upon Garou, after being freed Garou would fall into the urges which he had gained, and fully monsterize, in his fight against Darkshine, despite being weaker than him in the beginning, over the course of moments, he would surpass him, and completely crush the hero. Before he could do anything else however, a massive fight between Gyoro and Tatsumaki would break out, lifting the entire association out of the earth, and as the heroes fought against Gyoro, now turned PsykosOrochi, Garou would have an encounter with a random A-class hero by the name of the Caped Baldy. Or, well, Saitama.

If you know anything about One Punch Man you know how this fight ends, despite trying everything to prove his ways to Tareo, who had been watching the fight, Garou was outclassed in every way, no matter what he did, or how hard he punched, or pushed himself, Saitama was an unbreakable object, but after being hit with a serious punch, Garou would come face to face with a deity far beyond his understanding, claiming to be Bang, Garou would reject this beings hand by slapping it away, however, this being, cunningly used that simply hand slap to try taking over Garou.

Reborn with a new, nearly endless amount of power, Garou would face off against Saitama at full power, copying his strength and hitting him full force, this would lead Garou to the other heroes, and from there, he’d do the one thing Saitama wish wouldn’t happen, he’d never been a true hero afterall, and before he made it, Garou would kill Genos. Enraged by this Saitama would go all out, and Garou would copy, this fight would break everything.

Blast, the number one hero who had arrived earlier would be forced into using all of his power to redirect the blow between Saitama and Garou, forcing the energy into a massive wave which shot outwards, obliterating entire star systems in seconds, blasted towards Jupiter, Saitama and Garou would fight after landing on Jupitiers moon titan, however, over time something would shift, while they were equal at the beginning, Garou’s growth was unable to compete with Saitamas, and it was through that, that eventually, nobody, could measure how far Saitama grew, his absolute limits were unending, and Garou simply could not keep up.

While trying to escape from Saitama, he was slammed back down into the earth below, Garou slowly rising after Saitama refused to kill him would rush over to Tareo, the energy which Garou’s new form produced had killed him, in one final desperate effort Garou would go against God, showing Saitama a technique, allowing him to leave their timeline and enter a new one.

The original timeline, despite being completely destroyed would still live on slightly, Garou’s soul would transport itself to the new timeline, making sure that Tareo was okay, before finally fading away. Maybe his belief in absolute evil was wrong, because as long as there are heroes, then there's nothing to truly worry about, right?

Experience & Skill

Experience

Garou is defined by how much he’s done, and it’s our job to note it all, His first stated appearance is when Bang spoke about him in relation to basically taking out his entire dojo, as shown above, he outclassed the rest of the dojo so hard that he barely took ANY damage. Along with that, Garou pretty consistently outclasses people he really shouldn’t be able to, like a group of Dojo Crushers who were known at the time for professionally crushing multiple dojos, he consistently bullies A-class heroes, and then, right after that, took out an entire room of criminals and thugs, again, without taking any damage at all, along with that, Garou can figure out how you fight, and if he does, it’s pretty much wraps, when he figured out how Golden Ball fought he was able to completely avoid every attack he threw.

And even the S-class aren’t above the Hero hunter either, when he went up against the Tank Top Gang, first, figured out exactly how Tank Top Master fought in a couple of moments, and then right after took out his entire group without trying, because of this Garou was able to hit exact pressure points in your body to take you out and paralyze you mid fight, its to the point that his entire fighting style is seemingly based around taking out humans and super humans. He’s taken down other S-Class heroes like Metal Bat, he out performed Darkshine entirely, someone who had been training his entire life, and he could even take on Bomb, Bang’s brother, who had much more training then his brother. And on top of all of that, he’s a great strategist.

Finally, even after Retiring, Garou did a ton, he was able to keep up with Siryu, someone who held the title best martial artist in a world wide championship, but of course, by keep up, I obviously mean, entirely outclass him, and even while in this state, Garou was able to replicate, the ever so famous, death punch. So if you’re standing in his way, good damn luck taking him on. But skill and Experience aren’t the only things you need to watch out for while fighting Garou, make sure to steer clear of his…

Techniques

Fist of Flowing Water

One of the most well known fighting styles in the entire world of OPM, the Gist of Flowing Water, or Rock Smashing Water Stream Fist, if you’re a little gay, this style is most notably created by Garou’s master, and S-class hero Silver Fang, this fighting style, is most notable for its ability to reflect attacks, often used in cases where an Opponents overwhelming strength becomes nearly impossible to deal with.

Bang himself, has used Flowing Water to deflect energy attacks from characters like Overgrown rover, whose attacks literally evaporate the things it comes into contact with, this attack could also deflect a punch from Fuhur Ugly.

However, Garou uses it in a much more destructive way, while he uses it in a very similar way to Bang, where he deflects attacks, most of the time Garou instead uses the force of your OWN attack to hit you with the force of your own blow, he also, instead of waiting for an opponent to attack goes in a much more offensive route, barraging opponents as quickly as possible, he’s deflected attacks from top tiers like Metal Bat’s savage tornado, or deflecting attacks from the monster king Orochi.

Watchdog Style

A style created by S-class hero Watchdog man, while there's not much specifically going on here we do know a couple things about it, Watchdog man’s style is entirely based around using non human tricks, for example, using “paw” as an attack which slows down and outright stops all damage by slowing down the momentum of an attack, Garou, even after being utterly defeated by this style, began using it against Genos after he had fought against multiple A-class heroes, using the absolute raw speed and power this technique is able to give Garou was able to not only outspeed Genos’ sensors, but also tear off his arm.

Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist

The ultimate martial art, the thing which all people strive to, Garou’s “Fist” combining all 11 techniques which he had learned throughout his journey as the hero hunter, culminating in the MONSTER CALAMITY GOD SLAYER FIST, all of these techniques had been refined, and together they’re practically impossible to beat out with your own martial arts, on top of that, if you have your own martial arts, be careful not to show your hand fully to Garou as not only will he copy it and then incorporate it into God Slayer, he will then use it to cancel out your OWN martial arts, this technique is so perfected that Bang, even as the creator of Flowing Water was unable to counter God Slayer using a replicated version of it, along with all of that, Garou is able to combine specific techniques from the ones which he’s copied and use them against their users.

Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist also has the added bonus of working with his power amplification, as the more he grows the better his Martial Art’s become, with Metal bat Garou was able to deflect the 6666 leg grand drill, which would need some absolute insane skill to not only deflect but punish at least 3333 legs each, what's even crazier is that the God Slayer Instant Attack was able to deflect the near infinite power from Saitama, even the simple shockwaves from the techniques that come from this Fist are able to destroy multiple buildings with ease. The Exploding Heart Release Fist, is a fist which allows Garou to literally destroy his OWN heart causing a power amp to his form, but good luck actually doing anything about this, as even being GRAZED by it causes a person's heart to completely explode.

However, there is a way to go even further beyond this, a final hidden fist… It’s…

The Fist of God

A technique born from his “deal” with God, due to his unnatural ability to copy and learn any martial arts he sees, Garou evolved far beyond what he could ever have originally done, and no, I mean that literally, all Martial arts come from that of the world which surrounds us, think of the raging Tiger, a fist which comes from the power of a Tiger’s claw, but what if a person was able to learn, absolutely everything, the flow of all energy in the entire universe, that is exactly what the fist of God is.

In this state of power, Garou is able to cause a phenomenon known as a Gamma Ray Burst, and after seeing Blast fight a single time he was able to fully copy his Dimensional Portals, all this copying is pretty potent, but then there's the highest level to this copying, as we’ve said, Martial Arts come from everything in the universe, and everything includes Saitama.

MODE SAITAMA, is a mode which allows Garou to copy specifically Saitama, this generally comes with stuff that Saitama has done himself, like his fear aura, which seemingly all living beings can feel, this feer aura is so potent that even being around Saitama will cause the CELLS in your body to act up, there's the consecutive Normal Punch which can cause massive amounts of damage, which Garou copied first to clash against Saitama, the Serious punch, which allows Garou to destroy plasma/energy based attacks entirely, and when clashed against Saitama’s Serious Punch, created the Serious Punch^2, which caused an energy output so strong it broke a hole in the sky. Along with that, Garou gains access to Saitama’s strongest ability, his broken limiter, allowing him to infinitely grow.

Abilities

4th Wall Awareness

As shown above, Garou breaks the “This is a fictional story” sign, clearly this qualifies him for reality over fiction and makes him goated god sigma boy grindset tung tung bossy deluxe extra cheese, let it swim sigma six seven, uh, what else are the kids saying these days?

Aura Sense/Manipulation

Garou is able to sense and manipulate the Aura’s around him, as shown above, Garou is able to fully sense Auras around him, with that, Garou is able to give off an Aura of his own, being able to give off a massive killing aura which was able to stun S-class Tank Top Master, and even people who aren’t akin to that kind of thing can feel the aura he gives off on his own.

Extrasensory Abilities

Using his senses Garou is able to dodge attacks and deflect them instinctively… That's about it, sorry but a base Garou doesn’t really have much going for him ability wise… Well…. Except for one thing that is.

Limit Breaking Physiology

For us to talk about Garou’s form’s we have to talk about what led him to these forms, that being his Broken Limiter. To break ones limiter a person must be able to break the bounds which block out their mind, to do such is to go against God’s law (More clarifications in Resistances), which makes sense as a person's Emotions allow them to go further beyond anything they had ever done previously, by an insane margin depending on their mentality. In the webcomic this is specifically backed up further in its newest chapter, where Genos described the reasons as to how a person can break their limiter before breaking his own, he describes a persons heart, a persons self, their instinct, a persons emotions and their heart, not records or anything artificial, its a persons Memories. Which means upon limit breaking, you can just, Will yourself to be stronger.

Forms

Half Monster Garou

Upon monsterization, Garou grew incredibly powerful, gaining an amp in his stamina after being nearly beaten to a pulp by Bang and Bomb, described as a Half Monster in this state by Gyoro Gyroro, this form takes a TON to truly deal with, not only is taking it down incredibly difficult, as you practically need to remove all the blood from his body, just to render him unconscious, and even that might not take him down for good as he gains a healing factor in this state as well, able to heal those same gashing wounds in only a couple of hours. However even if you are to kill Garou while he’s in this state, he’ll just, y’know, come back stronger, this is proven as in his fight against Overgrown Rover, Garou genuinely, dies, but he comes back stronger in a couple moments, this is because, in monsters, if you don't fully kill them they simply come back much, much stronger than they did before.

This manifests in the forms strongest ability, which is its adaptation to its surroundings, upon being manipulated by Gyoro Gyoro, Garou magically gains a resistance to Telekinesis in moments, just by being exposed to the stuff, but this isn’t just resistance based, as Garou was able to amplify his speed over time, this also becomes his strength as well, as overtime he becomes stronger, as his power increases so do other things, like the much less physical Fear aura, where this fear becomes more and more powerful to the point of causing Darkshine to refer to him as “Fear Incarnate”.

Monsterized

Born from Garou’s strong will to become the icon of despair, this form is built upon, Garou fully monsterizing after his fight with Darkshine, using him as a stepping stone to become the strongest version of himself possibly in the current moment, this eventually finalized in an incredible boost, being able to match Bomb at full power, and as stated before, match Saitama with his attacks, along with that, Garou grew the ability to regenerate entire parts of his body, like his arm for example, when Saitama completely shattered it like glass, but just to state how overpowering this amp is overtime, in millionths of a second in his clash against Platinum S, Garou went from being utterly blitzed, to completely Outspeeding him.

Along with that, this form gains its own new power amp for Garou, that being its Reactive evolution, in response to the anger or emotions which come from this body, the body will begin to evolve to whatever Garou needs as to gain the upper hand on his opponent, this can range from growing massive ass Bat Wings, to growing 4 entire new arms which can be used to further improve his martial arts, practically making him nearly impossible to beat. But if something were to go wrong, then through divine intervention there's always…

Cosmic Fear Garou (See Before Verdict)

Through his sort of deal with GOD, by simply slapping his hand Garou was given a fraction of GOD’s power, this power was so almighty that Saitama, simply by proxy could feel the force in which this form could produce, this pressure was felt by ALL S-class heroes simply upon his arrival. Being reborn as, The fist of God.

Being created by God, we have to know what happens to those who are connected to, and become fused with a small amount of Gods power, for example, Psykos began forming as a conceptual thought form. Quote “そうすればやがて融合した精神は巨大な思念体となり... さすれば” means "if that is completed, then before long, the fused spirits will become a massive thought form" or more-or-less, a being composed off of thoughts, which is due to 思念体 which is 思念 (Thought form) rather then 精神 (spiritual form), due to Spirit being used earlier in the sentence, this means that this form of Psykos is absolutely meant to be a conceptual being based on thoughts, and then finally 体 which means form. Meaning the intent here is to mean “A fused thought form” rather than a “A fused spiritual form”, regardless, considering Garou in this form shares traits to Psykos, like their regeneration, it probably means that this thought form physiology extends to Cosmic Garou, this doesn’t matter much as other characters have interacted with the Thought Form Psykos regardless, so he should have some level of Conceptual interaction, if not being similar physiologically to Psykos.

(Note: This is not to say characters in OPM have Conceptual MANIPULATION, Interaction and Manipulation are two separate things that should not be conflated. Continuing on, arguments could be made against a Conceptual Psykos due to how Drive Knight states that Tatsumaki is able to tear cells off of her, however, this is a mistranslation and not in the original Japanese text, rather it’s Orochi’s physical form which is being torn out of the ground and surrounding area, this is specified specifically within the text)

This form is powerful. And that’s watering it down heavily, Garou is an absolute, MONSTER in this state, through his punches alone he creates nuclear fission, along with that, during his fight against Saitama, this energy is enough to create an actual star, and cause a gamma ray burst through it, that's not even mentioning his ability to simply create Cosmic Radiation which causes actual cell death in those around him. Along with that, Blast states that Garou was able to Control and Manipulate Fundamental laws of the universe while in this state, which makes sense considering his ability to completely copy Blast’s abilities, whose warp gates are Beyond the Laws of Physics.

Scaling

Monsters

Garou should obviously scale above these small fry, although the Dark Matter Thieves and Boros are debatable, realistically none of them stand a chance when compared to Monster or Cosmic Fear Garou.

The Monster Association

Simply put, Garou absolutely demolished most of the Monster Association, and a handful of their highest members were completely obliterated by the guy, Psykos, should also be here, as she was absolutely stunned at Homeless Emperors power despite having been fused with Orochi before.

Ninjas

Gonna be honest thought the other Ninjas would have cool feats but no, it’s just Sonic. This isn’t a bad thing as sonic is goated.

Heroes

Garou killed every single hero in the alternate timeline, and in his monster form competed with their highest members, so saying that he could deal with these low tiers is simple.

The S-Class

Another case of Garou mogging most of the people here in terms of power, while Monster Garou should scale to practically everyone here except for Tatsumaki and Blast, his Cosmic form should absolutely scale to them very easily.

Empty Void

I just want to put this here to make fun of Empty Fraud because he has a single feat, and he’s a loser and nobody likes him at all, BLEHHHHH LOOOOOSSEEERRRRR so called “5D” FRAUD i HATE Empty Feats, and his single Mountain level feat and mistranslated page which does FUCK ALL.

Blast

The goat Blast struggled while fighting Garou, and barely did any damage to him, as well as Garou learning and stealing his technique it probably means that Garou should scale to, or above Blast, as it took him, and the rest of his group, to reflect the Serious^2 punch from Garou and Saitama.

Saitama

It’s undoubtable that Saitama is the absolute pinnacle of the OPM universe, being mister one punch himself has its merits of course, regardless. Saitama is an interesting case when talking about him in scaling as it’s pretty difficult to gauge the guy and who scales, however, I’m going to say Cosmic Garou should scale to most of Saitama’s feats up until he does something crazy in the Webcomic which explicitly surpasses him. For example, Empty Feat’s dimensional slash being caught by Saitama is above Garou’s cosmic form, but it doesn’t matter as they both canonically have similar levels of power.

Weaknesses

Despite having glazed this man for the past hour, you’ve probably noticed some pretty specific weaknesses. Firstly, Garou is over confident, he often thinks he’ll come out of a fight as the winner regardless of how much damage he’s sustained, and only ever realizes he’s bitten off more than he can chew at the point where he can’t really undo that, also, Garou likes to spam the everliving shit out of flowing water, he knows multiple other techniques which are brought up but specifically do not have their own sections due to them being completely unexplained in how they work, and the ones we do see, he uses pretty poorly despite supposedly being this big martial art’s prodigy.

His other forms also have their issues, Half Monster has some pretty bad regen, which takes hours to fully work, and along with that his ability to become stronger overtime is MUCH slower when compared to his Full Monster state, which also has the issue of, if he’s hit hard enough, he can be knocked out of it entirely, negating pretty much every amp he would’ve gotten in that form. Cosmic Garou is pretty impervious but also it has the issue of giving Garou an ego Boost so massive that he just rides that High forever, along with that, despite his scaling being really fast in that state, it's still MUCH slower than Saitama's, although that's not to say that he can’t evolve in a millionth of a second.

Before the Verdict

Cosmic Shmosmic. It ain’t applicable.

Probably the most divisive thing when it comes to Garou in VS, which is “Does Garou even get his cosmic form” and most likely no, at the end of the Cosmic Garou arc Garou's alternate timeline self is erased entirely, his soul goes poof, along with that God is generally an outside force which really shouldn’t be used in casual VS.

For example, Homeless Emperor has his powers ONLY because God let him have those powers, in a vs space theoretically you wouldn’t give him those powers because well, they aren’t standard to Homeless, but you would anyways because it’s apart of his main kit, the same goes for Garou, I’d be shocked to find someone whose read OPM and knows about Cosmic Garou and wouldn’t want him to use it in a theoretical VS episode. However, this depends on the matchup specifically, for example, something like Garou vs Cell would use Cosmic because that’s the main allure of that matchup, same goes for Garou vs Raoh/Godspeed, however something like Garou vs Shigaraki, or Garou vs Toji would probably benefit a shit-ton from Cosmic not being included.

Generally speaking, it comes down to the matchup you want for Garou specifically, if you’re using Godspeed, maybe shoot for Alt Timeline Garou, if it's Meruem, Kars, or Shigaraki, shoot for Monster Garou. Cosmic and Current Garou are two separate characters if that makes sense, so act accordingly depending on the matchup you're doing and if Cosmic makes sense or doesn't.

5D Blast?

Oh brother, this is going to stir the pot, regardless, this comes from translating Blast.

Where-in Blast states that he and Garou can retreat to a “Higher spatial dimension” while they figure out how to un-cosmic the Cosmic Garou. Firstly, let's talk about what this could be, to make note, Blasts abilities relate around Spatial Dimensionality entirely, for example, his Spatial Dimension Canon is just that, it makes use of the Spatial Dimensions which he manipulates and then fires it out in an attack.

Along with that is his ability to manipulate Vectors, Vectors in physics are a geometric value of Length, Displacement, Force, and Velocity, in this case specifically Blast is unable to manipulate the Vector Dimension of the Serious Punch^2, because of that, he has to make a new Vector in order to redirect the blast into space.

So if Blast is directly related to Dimensionality in mathematics, this higher spatial dimension would HAVE to be a higher plane of existence, however, more than likely, this plane is not the 4th Dimension, for example, the 4th Dimension is that of Time (Or 3 Spatial Dimensions + 1), however this is unlikely to be the dimension Blast would’ve brought Garou, this is due to God consistently fucking with Blast by messing with him through time, as God tried BFRing Blast into a place between Timespace. This is important as Garou states that the power of God is that of Time, to go back in time and create a new timeline. Consider that the place closest to god has a separate flow of time when compared to the outside world, this makes sense considering that Blast specifically separates the manipulation of time occurring when compared to the space which they exist within “この空間” into the property of whats occuring “外より時間の流れが遅い” specifically, the space itself is the regular 3rd dimension, however, God is affecting time itself due to its presence, causing a divergence from the outside, further context comes afterwards where Blast is stuck in that cleft in time, wherein Blast is transported to “時間の狭間” which translates roughly to “The Gap Between Time” this is separate from the space which Blast wishes to lead Garou “事態が飲み込めたならひとまず俺が別の次元へ案内しよう“ specifically, the seperation of this comes from “時間” and “次元” both of which mean two distinct things that shouldn’t be conflicted, “Shijian” and “Jigen”, Time and Dimensional Axis respectively, however what's specific to note about this means the following “Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events that occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future. Time is a component quantity of many measurements used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify rates of change of quantities in material reality or in the conscious experience.“ Yes it’s quite a bit, however this is the Japanese dictionary explanation for the term Shijian, which is opposed to Jigen’s meaning of Mathematical Dimension. The implication here is that Blast’s bunker dimension and Time itself shouldn’t be connected as the same thing, meaning for it to be a “Higher Spatial Dimension” Blast would have to be bringing Garou to something beyond the 3rd and 4th Dimension.

Further evidence of 5D Blast comes in the form of the subspace gates which he creates in his fight against Garou, these gates are pretty explicitly stated to be “Beyond the laws of physics” or at least, the implication of these gates are to be just that, planes which go beyond Space and Time, as for the final nail in relation to this, is that every character when referring to Blast uses the term “Spatial Dimension”.this includes Tatsumaki, who refers to Blast’s travel as “空間がゆがんで” and then “別の次元“ which means that space itself began to warp, and then a person traveled into another spatial dimension, this could only mean a fifth dimensional space. And finally, Genos entitles Saitama’s ability to warp causality as a transcendent ability beyond Space and Time, considering this was learnt from Garous fist, whose soul also escaped his bodies death and went back in time before being removed from existence, means that Cosmic Garou should probably scale to this. As such I believe it’s safe to say that 5D OPM is fine to use.

Conclusion

"The popular will win, the hated will lose. It's such a tragedy. Then I won't lose to anyone. I will become the strongest monster ever and change this scenario."

Stats:

  • Human: Presumably Wall due to taking out Mumen and creating a crater, up to Building through Tank Top Master scaling, Bullet Timing speed wise.

  • Half Monster: 49 Petatons, via Darkshine scaling, 28c due to dodging Orochi’s attacks who should certainly be above flashy flash.

  • Monster: 42-49 Petatons, via Darkshine scaling, and mishaping earth. 178c through his clash with Platinum S, presumably 2.5 Exatons via living a serious punch in this state.

  • Cosmic: MSS+, via the Serious^2, Universal due to creating his own inner universe at the end of the fight with Saitama, 5D, via Blast scaling. Infinite~Immeasurable speed via his own punches being undodgable in the 3rd dimension, along with Blast escaping a realm between time, and his own Soul entering the realm that's “Transcendent over Time Space”

Thanks for reading my shitty ass Garou blog, I really enjoy OPM and dissecting the series/translating a bunch of stuff has been real fun, I'm sure people will be normal about this. Regardless, this is something I’ve wanted to do for awhile, well, not the Garou part, but just to make another OPM blog, as the last one I made was fucking Tatsumaki vs Mob 2 years ago, and this series is genuinely one of my favourites, so this atleast gave me a chance to make some cool shit, see you after Saitama vs Goku because I’m not interacting with the community when that comes out. But first let's talk about some Garou MU’s - Lain

Possible Matchups

Garou vs Cell

Garou vs Cell, probably the most wanted Garou matchup, well, besides the next one I guess, this is kinda THE Garou matchup, and the most wanted for him I think? Least likely to happen though considering Cell vs Metal is like, the best episode for Cell, and I doubt they’d do another Cell episode after Devil left, as such, lets just take a look at how this fight unfolds, and-

Yeah okay, so having the “I kill cell ability” passively is probably the funniest fucking wincon ever, to his credit however, Cell is specifically faster then Garou before he goes Cosmic, 210 quadrillion c vs Garous 176c, so uh, yeah, however, the issue is, Cell can’t really kill a monster Garou? His regeneration is mostly instant, and seemingly better than Cells, there's also the issue of Cosmic being popped which becomes Uni Cell vs 5D Garou, and finite speed Cell vs Infinite speed Garou, at which point Cell gets stonewalled and just kind of dies.

Ability wise it just doesn’t get better for the green locust, as as we’ve said, Ability that specifically kills Cell overtime, along with that Garou could either teleport Cell to the Cleft between time, or Gamma Ray Burst letting Garou to throw Cell into a black hole. Law/Spacetime manipulation would fuck Cell over incredibly hard, and is something he’s never dealt with before. Hell, going back in time and just killing the little baby baba boo cell is always an option as well, “Well that's not a perfected technique!” His soul does it perfectly without being forced into the causality of his original body, he can do it fine, and the arguments against it are generally done because you’ve missed the point of the Zero Punch or the Timespace leap.

Regardless, I like Cell vs Garou, I think it’s fun, I like Cell a shitton (Metal winning was BS smhsmh) and I love Garou, too bad this’ll never happen most likely.

Garou vs Godspeed

  • Source: idk bruh

DC scaling mogs Garou, it's a flash scaling character, I genuinely couldn’t care less to argue the semantics of Mister Attosecond. You can like it, I just don't think scaling comic characters is that fun anymore.

Even still, this matchup is kinda buns and does quite literally nothing for Garou, or from what i’ve heard of Godspeed fans, him either, so I’d say this is probably my least wanted for Garou.

Garou vs Shigaraki

This one is actually really fucking interesting considering it focuses a lot more on Monster Garou rather then having him pop ult and blast Shigi with a blackhole immediately killing him, Stats wise it’s interesting, the strongest feats that both scale to is 11 Teratons and 60c for Shigaraki vs 2.5 Exatons and 178c for Monster Garou, so it’s pretty clear that Monster Garou should just be stronger flatout, and many times faster.

Ability wise things become weird, because well, realistically, Garou doesn’t resist being turned to ash, and because of that he’d have to play VERY carefully, luckily for Garou, his whole thing is using his techniques to his advantage, his heart exploding punch would instantly kill Shigaraki as he doesn’t resist that, and due to the speed gap, it's more than likely that Monster Garou throws out the Heart Exploding Fist and kills him.

Regardless, this fight is a very close one, and I do have my bets on Garou winning it, regardless, the point of the matchup itself is fun, and I like the idea of connecting their goals in the way this matchup does, I do prefer Cell because I just like Cell more, but Shigi is awesome and goated.

Garou vs Raoh

IDK much anything about Fist of the North star, so I’m just going to hope this blog gets everything Raoh does perfect, otherwise my bad FOTNS bros, this matchup mostly focuses on Cosmic so I’ll be using him as a base point when comparing to Roah.

Taking a look at stats things are well, certainly something, Raoh should be able to dish out 1.6 Gigatons to 5.2 Petatons, both are, ludicrously high, but Cosmic Garou is just utter bullshit, at its lowest the Serious^2 got around 72 Zettafoe, or if we’re to say one half of that it would be around 36 Zettafoe, that would make the difference nearly 2.1756800012531915e-40 between the two, this doesn’t get better for speed either, as Roah is around 11c, meanwhile Garou is hitting MFTL reaction speeds, along with having Infinite speed through blast, a minimum Garou should be around 176c, which is still multiple times larger then Raoh’s best.

I think the best option here is through abilities, FOTNS is pretty notorious for having some bullshit abilities, his aura would protect him against the Gamma Ray Burst, and any technical shit Garou could throw, invisible punches, shockwaves, etc etc, all of these are cool, but Garou’s fists are UNABLE to be avoided in the third dimension, and to my knowledge Raoh can’t go into the 4th dimension, unless I’m missing something specific, Raoh is open to being Law maniped, limited, BFR’d or even being hit by Garou’s passive radiation which kills everything for miles, due to the massive Speed and Strength gap, at this point there's nothing really stopping Garou from winning this, or er, idk, if anyone cares enough to correct me on this you can.

Before we Go

As you may have noticed, this is NOT Kars Fighting Ring, this is in fact Cheeses Side Plot, this is because I am not making blogs for my own series anymore, rather CSP will be used as a lobby for all future KFR based Blogs, and team blogs created by Me, Normal, and Cheese, similarly to how Pokepasta was handled. Regardless, expect Analog Scary out around the time of October's end, or earlier.

Thanks for Reading.
